Harry Potter et Les Reliques de la Mort

Salut!
This week was a good one here in Rennes! Found a used book store and managed to find a copy of Harry Potter 7 in French. Very excited to add that to my reading list, they changed some of the character names so it should be interesting. Wednesday was another night of theatre, the theatre club all went to see Leaves which is originally a show in English but was translated a few years ago. It takes place in Belfast Ireland and focuses on a small family and there battle with their daughter's depression. The set was extremely realistic and the lighting was incredible. Very modern with both music and video woven through out the show. The acting was awesome and in particular we were all impressed with the actress who played the 11 year old girl in the family. We put her age at around 15 but when we met her after the show it turned out she was 22. Amazing! Yesterday it was a sunny warm day here in Rennes and I went out for coffee with a friend. It was a typical afternoon of everyone having coffee and (except for me) smoking cigarettes out in Place des Lices at the cafes. There was a small market set up and we did a little bit of Lecher Vitrine which is french for window shopping but translating directly means window licking... Today is packing for our weekend trip tomorrow which should be really cool. I just found out that we will be visiting the Chateau Azay le Rideau which is very exciting because I did a long term project on it in high school. I found a picture online and I will be sure to take a lot this weekend. Find one below. We will also be visiting Chateau de Chambord and Chateau de Chenonceau. Sunday is our wine tasting and the village of Azay de Rideau.  Cannot wait to fill all of you after this weekend.
     Love from France!
